Hi, My name is Candi Olszewski

I am majoring in English/Language Arts and minoring in Elementary Education.
 

I make my home in Caledonia, Michigan.  It is a small town, but constantly growing, approximately 35 minutes from the Allendale campus. I have lived there with my family for as long as I can remember.  I have one younger sister that is attending G.R.C.C.  I graduated in the ten top from Caledonia High School.

In my free time I can usually keep myself fairly busy.  During the summer I enjoy camping and rollerbladding.  During the winter I enjoy sledding and playing out in the snow.  Basically, I have fun doing anything as long as it is outdoors.  I also play the piano and love curling up with a good book.  When I'm not using my free time to play, I spent it at church.  I attend Alto Baptist Church.  I am a Sunday School teacher for the four and five year olds.  I also teach the third and fourth grade girls on Wednesday nights.

I have a lot of favorite things.  My favorite sport to play and watch is hockey, with the Detroit Red Wings being my favorite NHL team!  I make sure to watch every game that I can.  My favorite musician is Harry Connick Jr.  I love all kinds of music.  I also enjoy the fine arts.  My favorite food is ice cream.  I just love the stuff.  I think that a great time is to grab a bowl of ice cream while reading my favorite book.  My favorite book, and movie, is Gone with the Wind.
