Name is Angelea
Torralva, I've always had a passion for art. Ever since I was little I
would try to draw anything and everything. When I was younger I
was inspired by somebody's artwork that was very realistic when
it
came to looking exactly like a specific person. When I saw that,
I decided that someday I was going to draw just as good as
her,
but with a twist! I have an enormous love for color, so I try to
incorporate lots of different colors in my work. There's
just
something about a composition exploding with color that makes
life brighter. Two artists that have inspired me in a huge
way are Salvador Dali and Henri Matisse. Dali's surrealism blows my mind
and also his dream inspiration has been huge to me, because I also take
a lot from my dreams and put them into my work symbolically.
Matisse has inspired me hugely with the way he uses his color,
especially in his self-portrait. My work is truly impacted by
everything I see. I have a fascination for outer space, so I like
to put that in all kinds of different work. Anything that has to do
with nature, music, or my dreams is what will be seen in my work.Angelea
