Ride the Wave of Diversity
The Ethnic Festival took place November 16, 2000 in the fieldhouse arena.
During this event the Tribe "sold" to people what the Tribe is about and what we stand for. PRIDE!!!
The theme was "Ride the Wave of Diversity"
The Tribe handed out starburst and had a table and background going along with the theme: surfboards….
Box World
What is it like to be homeless?
On November 16th starting at 6:00p.m. The Tribe and other organizations spent the night in boxes on Kirkhof lawn.
The point of this was to raise money for the less fortunate by donating money or canned goods in order to stay the night in a box.
Each group was given some boxes and about three hours to build their home for the night. Later that night they were judged.
