I have many interests in my life and most
of them are involved with sports. In high school I played water polo
and swam.
Water Polo
I was a three time all-conference
team member, all-regional team member, and all-state team member in water
polo. My senior year I was selected to the 4th team all-american
water polo team. I made the Junior National water polo team when
I was a junior in high school and played in the Junior Olympic tournament
three times. I currently coach the Rockford Men's Varsity water polo
team, the Rockford Women's Varsity water polo team, and the Rockford Aquatic
Club Junior Olympic water polo program that competes all summer long and
in the Junior Olympic Championships at the end of every summer.
Swimming
I began swimming when I was
eight years of age for the Rockford community swim team. I did not
swim when I was in middle school because I was on the basketball team.
In high school I was an all conference team member my junior year and qualified
for the state meet team all four years in high school. I currently
coach the Rockford Middle school boys swim team.
Family
Another very important interest
to me is my family and loved ones. My role model in life is my grandfather.
He is a WWII vet. that has experienced it all in his lifetime. He
is 83 years old and is perhaps the most wise, generous, and loving man
that I have ever come accrossed. I love my mother very much and she
as well is a role model in my life. She raised me and my brother
by herself and we were not the easiest to raise. For the past five
years I have been dating my girlfriend Sarah Sack. She too is attending
GVSU. She has made a huge impact in my life and I would not change
anything that we have experienced in these past five years.
