Aug. 2006                                                   I worked with both children and senior citizens. I spent most of my time counseling and working with senior citizens, and taught religion to children. I also helped organize weddings and funerals.

Dec. 2005                                                    I was in charge of scheduling and budgeting programs for physically and mentally handicapped residents. While they were in my care I was expected to assist or perform all their needs. This

Ø      This was a field I was unfamiliar with when I first began, but was able to learn the many complexities of the job rather quickly.

 

The Mobile Solution: June 2004 to December 2004

                                    My position was a sales representative for cellular phones. I was

                                    expected to be able to interact with other people and provide them    

                                    with services that would best suit their needs. 

 

                                                Political Science Student: September 2000 to December 2005

                                    I spent two years at Northern Michigan University, then I

                                    transferred to Grand Valley State University. I took and internship

                                    with the city manager of the Village of Spring Lake. This

                                    internship lasted for twelve weeks. I worked with the city manager,

                                    treasurer, and community service director. Some of my

                                    responsibilities dealt with the budget, public relations, and several

                                    other administrative activities.
