The Note

Tasks

1)    Before you can find anything about my son Nicholas, I think it would be best if you got to know Boston a bit better.  Go to the library in town and study the city maps.  Walk through the streets so that you can become acquainted with where everything is.

2)    There is a man I need you to investigate.  The man’s name is John Adam’s, and he is a lawyer living in Boston.  Question him if you feel it is safe, but there are other ways you can learn about him too.  Click here to learn more about him.

3)    I have my suspicions my son was involved in some kind of “massacre” that took place a few years back.  I don’t know if it is possible to find out if he was really there or not, but if you can find out all you can then we may have a chance.  Research some written documents about the “massacre” and get an eye witness account of the event.

Instructions

Once you have collected all the information you could on the above tasks then I need you to write it all down for me, please explain everything.  You may be wondering where I have gone.  Ever since your arrival and agreeing to help me I have found new strength to live!  You have been such a blessing to me, I don’t know if I can ever thank you.  Anyway, I figured we would have a better chance if the two of us did some investigating.  People in Boston think of me as an old weak man, they fear if they tell me anything bad that I might just die from it.  So you see your role is essential, for I think the real answers lie in Boston.  But just to be sure I am traveling to a few other places in the colonies and asking questions from people who won’t be afraid to share with me.  I need the results to the above tasks by no later than a week from now.  The paper should be a minimum of 3 pages double-spaced, and you should give it to the local schoolteacher Mr. Postma; he will know what to do. To continue with the quest go to Jedediah’s Response.
