I quit my full time job to be more available for my children. Naturally, I got a job in the same school system that my children attend.  About one-half a year later, I took a job as a Special Education assistant.  I thought I wanted to become a Special Education teacher until I realized that I am not creative enough to come up with my own lesson plans.  I can easily adapt lessons, but I need an already made lesson to begin with.

I am planning on applying to GVSU's Masters in Social Work program.  I want to be a school social worker or work in the criminal justice field as a social worker.
