MY
DOWNTIME
I have a lot
of various activities that fill my time, and sports covers a lot of it.
I love watching sports, baseball in particular, playing beach volleyball,
and managing a fantasy baseball team (a bit of addiction I think). I have
numerous friends who join me in those times, but I especially enjoy just
hanging out and talking, be it around a fire, at the bar, on the beach,
walking the boardwalk, in the driveway or in somebody's kitchen.
I work quite
a bit at Old Boys' Brewhouse in Spring Lake, where I serve and bartend,
bartending being my favorite. I've been there for about 2 1/2 years now
and fear the thought of leaving because the owners and other employees
have become dear friends. I don't I'll ever quit, probably just call in
to work when I need to. Now that's a job! I also work at Spectrum Child
Development Center in Grand Rapids where I'm a teacher aide in the preschool
wing, so it's kind of a paid internship, because I'm definitely not there
for the pay!
I'm sure there's
more to tell and I'll add more as I go along, but that's a good start for
now.
