I really like this topic and I think you have made the steps very clear and easy to follow. I was able to complete the task with ease as I followed your instructions. I did not have to stop and go back, everything was laid out in a clear and concise matter.

I did make a few notes about things that could be worked on. Even though I was able to follow the steps, there is always room for improvement.

First, I do not like how you have the steps broke up. I think it would be better with either one step per page or all of the steps on one page with anchors leading down the page. I also don’t like how only steps 1 and 2 show up on the bottom navigation bar, until you actually go to step 3 and 4 and steps 5 and 6 never showed up. I wanted to click on the number rather than on the next button. Later I realized that the numbers were not actually links. Personally, I would make them links so people can jump around between the numbers if they want to. Or, at the very least if you do not want them to be links, don’t make them look like links with the blue underlined font.

I wish the links worked on the image map on the first page. I think this would be an excellent display as the use of image mapping. Or possibly, you could create an image map with links to each of the steps. I just think it would be very appropriate to actually show the task that you are instructing your readers to complete.

I also noticed a few minor things that would just increase the quality of your page and give it more credibility. I think that the star that you use to showcase the image mapping should have a higher quality. It looks very pixilated and a higher resolution picture would be much better. Next, on a few of the steps you do not have a space between the step number and the title of the step. For example you have “Step 4Creating Target.” I think you should put a space or a dash or even put the title below the step number.

Finally, I wanted to point out a few things that really caught my eye and made the whole site look better and run smoothly. I really like the screen shot with the circles pointing me in the right direction. They clearly point the sure in the right direction and are a big part of why the steps are so easy to follow. I also really like the organization of the Troubleshooting page….you just need to get it done.
