My Cat:  I am the guardian of a beautiful little orange cat named Azrael Sassypants.  She has quite a story, but that's an entire web page in and of itself.  She enjoys mozzarella cheese, cuddling, "helping" me with my homework by flopping down on whatever book I'm using, and Gary, a mini-Beanie Baby bear that she carries around like a baby.  She also helps me type emails to my parents and friends by walking on the keyboard and inserting random letters.

My Music:  I love all kinds of music, with the obvious exceptions of hardcore rap and whiny country (those types aren't really music anyway).  Some of my favorites are Beethoven, the Dave Matthews Band, REM, Tori Amos, The Vandals, The Rolling Stones, The Who, and various punk bands.  I am learning how to play the electric bass guitar, but that's a work in progress.  Someday I might actually be good.  In the past, I've played all different types of clarinet (I'm best at the contra-alto), the trumpet (I'm decent), the regular six-string guitar (not too hot), the bassoon (I suck), and the piano (I really suck).

My Writing:  I also really love to write, and am the author of many short stories and poems.  There's a novel or two kicking around my head somewhere, but they're not ready to come out yet.  When they're ready, I'm ready too....
