Interests

I have many interests which involve the outdoors.   I love to be outdoors and do all kinds of outdoor activities.  Camping and hiking are two of my favorite activities to do during my spare time.  Also, I enjoy mountain bike riding, which I try to do a few times a week.  I have just recently picked a new hobby when I joined the rock climbing club here at Grand Valley State University.  Another interest of mine is swimming.  I was involved with competitive swimming from the age of six up through high school.  Although I do not get the chance to swim very often now that I am in college, I still get excited every time I enter the water.  I am a huge hockey fan especially when it comes to rooting for my favorite team, the Detroit Redwings.  The Redwings are a team that my family follows very closely and it is always nice when we can get together to watch a game.  In addition to all of these activities, I love spending time with my family, friends, and girlfriend, Sarah.
