For this project we were to create a website for an organization in our community.

Part C: Web structure, content, and interface design

Web Structure:

This is the original site for the restaurant. There are several items that needed to be reworked. The sponsor's logo was the first item a viewer noticed. The site trapped too much white space. The logo appeared "dirty" and did not distinguish itself from the rest of the site.

This is the revised site. The colors chosen had to be warm and inviting to maintain the image of a family orientated Italian restaurant. The website was designed to show a consistent site no matter which link is chosen. The entire site consists of seven pages. I was able to manage the vast amounts of text by utilizing the layer swap function in Dreamweaver. The new text and images appear in the white area. The small red box in the top left corner provides a gentle reminder for the viewer as to which page is currently open. Every page has a convenient "back" button to quickly navigate between pages.

Part B: Content Analysis
