Section Two: Qualification
5.2.1
Each Executive Board member must be registered for at least six semester
hours of credit at GVSU.
5.2.2
Each Executive Board member must carry a 2.0 cumulative GPA, and be in good
academic standing.
5.2.3 Each Executive Board member will be required
to produce proof that s/he is enrolled for at least six semester hours of
credit at Grand Valley State University and that s/he has maintained at least
a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (12/3/04).
Section Three: Elections
5.3.1
The officers shall be nominated by general assembly.
5.3.2
The officers shall be elected by general assembly and majority vote.
5.3.3
The New Executive Board shall serve from August to April.
ARTICLE
SIX: EXECUTIVE BOARD RESPONSIBILITIES
Section One: President
6.1.1
Preside at all meetings of the Future Police and Educators Association.
6.1.2
Make an agenda for each meeting.
6.1.3
Organize the attendance of any guest speakers.
Section Two: Vice-President
6.2.1
Address any duties deemed necessary by the organization or the President.
6.2.2
Perform the duties of the President in his/her absence.
6.2.3
Co-organize any guest speakers.
6.2.4
Appoint committees to organize events.
Section Three: Secretary
6.3.1
Perform the duties of the President in the absence of the President and
Vice-President
6.3.2
Be responsible for recording the minutes for each meeting.
6.3.3
Keep track of membership records.
Section Four: Treasurer
6.4.1
Continually update all financial records.
6.4.2
Organize fundraising and any other events concerning money.
6.4.3
Submit budget when due.
