Donations play a critical role in the Grand Valley Water Polo Club organization. Because water polo is a club sport at Grand Valley we rely on player dues and other fund raising activities for all financial obligations of this sport.

These obligations include but are not limited too:
*Renting the pool for practice time
*Tournament entry fees
*Travel expenses
*Lodging at tournaments
*and any equipment

As a team we try and raise as much money as possible to try and keep dues at a minimum. But because of increased pool fees, and tournaments dues this year dues reached an all-time high of nearly three hundred dollars.

In order to raise money outside of dues we do a variety of things

Selling T-Shirts:
Every year we sell GVSU Water Polo T-shirts. Every team member is required to sell a minimum of ten T-Shirts. If you would like a T-shirt contact anyone on the team and they would be happy to take your order.

Golf Outing:
In 2007 the Grand Valley Water Polo team organized the second anual GVSU Water Polo Golf Outing that took place at "The Meadows" a NCAA certified golf course on the Grand Valley Allendale campus. This outing was a hit and a lot of fun and raised nearly $2000 dollars.
