I am a Psychology/ Special Education major at Grand Valley State University.  I am working towards endorsements in the areas of Emotional Impairments and Cognitive Impairments.  Also, I am completing a minor in Elementary Education.  I have had a lot of experience in working with people who have special needs, through camps and other academic settings.  However, this is my first time working with middle school students and I am looking forward to all that they can teach me.

I grew up in Stevensville, Michigan, which is about an hour and a half south of Grand Rapids along the lakeshore.  I am currently a senior at Grand Valley.  Some of my favorite things to do in my free time are going to the beach, reading, and spending time with my family.  I also like to walk on the pier and take relaxing walks in the woods.
