Welcome...
The Cultural Board at Grand Valley State University welcomes you to our campus community.  Created in 2000, the Cultural Board is the accumulation of the six cultural advocacy groups on campus.  The six groups consist of the Arabic Cultural Club, Asian Student Union, Black Student Union, International Club, Latino Student Union, and Native American Student Union. The Cultural Board was created to promote communication, cooperation, and relationships among the cultural groups on campus.

Each group represented by the Cultural Board has their own unique identity. These identities have allowed these groups to produce programs that include Kwanzaa Celebration, R.I.C.E. Conference, Cesar Chavez Celebration, Annual Pow Wow, International Student Orientation, and other innovative programming. Through the Cultural Board, these groups have had the opportunity to collaborate on programs throughout the campus. The Cultural Board is responsible for creative and innovative programs on campus that include Leadership Lock-In, Get Acquainted Day, and other programs.  The Cultural Board is an integral part of the Office of Student Life's Ethnic Festival.
