Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc. relies in part on financial contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations to provide funding for our much needed programs and services. Contributions enable us to expand these programs and offer our services to more people each year.

Making a financial contribution to Goodwill is easy and is a wonderful way to give back to your community. Your donations are directly applied to our Employment and Training. Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc. is a 501(c)3 tax exempt non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
 

There are many ways you can contribute to the work of Goodwill. These include outright gifts, bequests, material donations, and shopping at our stores.

Outright Gifts

Outright Gifts Checks, cash, and credit card donations are all types of outright gifts. Assets, appreciated stock, securities, real estate, personal property, life insurance, and retirement plan funds can also be donated to Goodwill of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc. as an outright gift. All outright gifts are used to support our programs and services.

Memorials & Honorariums

You may wish to make your financial gift in honor or in memory of a special person or occasion. In this case, Goodwill notifies the honoree or family that a donation was made. Please contact the development department in Grandville at 616-532-4200 with questions or to designate your gift.

Bequests

You can also make a difference in the lives that follow when you make a gift to Goodwill in your will. You can designate a specific amount, donate property, or give a percentage of the residue of your estate.
