Our Mission

The mission of Goodwill Industries of Greater Grand Rapids, Inc. is to assist people with disabilities or other barriers to realize their full employment potential and to be self-reliant, self-supporting and contributing members of our society.

Goodwill applies the same proven expertise we have used for nearly 100 years in placing people into competitive employment. Goodwill's objective is to develop a vocational plan that fulfills every individual's personal and professional goals, encompasses appropriate training. We also secure work opportunities that provide wages and benefits necessary to create self-sufficent workers.

Our basic menu of services includes individualized assessments, career awareness, occupational skills training, job seeking skills, employment services, life skills training, mentoring and placement and retention services.
