Dave's Homemade Pop'n Music Controller

LOTS of images!

Why? Because I was getting tired of playing Pop'n Music on a midget sized controller. So my goal is to make a controller that is as close to the arcade size as possible. So far, I've built the basic housing. Here's the pictures. There's (much) more to come.

This is the box when viewed from the front.

Here you can see the latches used on the front of the box, as well as the corner irons that hold the frame together.

This is the back of the box, equipped with hinges.

These are the hinges, and more corner irons.

This shows the inside of the box, with 4" space between the floor and lid. The holes on the bottom are from the rubber feet mounting screws.

I used 12 screws driven through the shelf board, and into the 1"x4" boards to hold the base onto the side frame. The 15 rubber feet are just held on with the included screws, and will make the controller safe to use on most hard surfaces.
