With the month of June comes summer heat, drippin' ice-cream conez, bikinis bottoms and intensive Spouse Killer rehearsal. This weekend yr favorite band will be returning to Fenton to work exclusively on new material for the forthcoming new album, and final installment in the Bubble Bath of Blood Trilogy, Death, Destruction & Donuts. More to come on that.
Stay tuned for new shows this summer in Grand Rapids and Ann Arbor.
At long last, the music video for our new single "Trux" is now online. Watch it in the media section.
The Bubble Bath of Blood II: Mo' Blood, Mo' Bubbles is available now through the Black Market and other retail outlets around the globe. Stay tuned to buy it online.

By popular request, we've added a new section to the site. Go read the ever-changing influences of Spouse Killer.
Oh--Hello there! I didn't see you come in. If you stopped by to find out the latest from Spouse Killer, you're in luck. Our new record, "Mo' Blood, Mo' Bubbles", is at long last completed. We are very pleased with the results of the final mix, and are going through the motions to get it pressed in mass quantities to meet overwhelming demand. Much love to the boys over at The Cave for taking us under their wing. Thanks especially to Matt Ten Clay for great input and patience through a long period of mixing. Additionally, thanks once again to Harrison Ford who was kind enough to throw down a vocal track for us.
Once the disc is pressed and packaged it should be made available for purchase at Caveman Records MySpace page. Check back here soon for details on how to get the record, upcoming shows and the new music video for "Trux".
December 20th's performance at the DAAC has been cancelled as a result of a dropped supporting act. Sorry, everyone, but you'll have to wait until next year to see us perform Christmas hits in Santa hats and stockings.
We have confirmed our next gig at The DAAC on December 20th. See the shows section for details. Make sure to catch us there in the spirit of Christmas as we perform the hits as well as a one-time holiday cover song. Bring sleigh bells, mistletoe or free booze and we might give you an autograph.
As a side note, stay tuned for details on our CD release show which should be taking place after the new year somewhere in Grand Rapids.
A few new photographs are up for viewing in the media section. Also in that section, you will notice some new embedded applets for streaming audio playback as an alternative to downloading our mp3s. Our new Imeem page will provide us with the means of linking to direct feeds of audio and, eventually, video. Don't hold your breath for the video.
As we put the finishing touches on our new album, "BBoB2: Mo' Blood, Mo' Bubbles", people everywhere are speaking out in anticipation and enthusiam for the new material. Kind words and praise are pouring in, and we'd like to sincerely thank you all for the undying support. As a means of showing our appreciation, we've begun to organize your comments in a new section of our website called "Stories". Check it out now and find out what all the buzz is about!
You won't have to wait much longer: We are aiming for a Christmas release of the new album, which will make the perfect stocking-stuffer. Make sure to ask your local Santa Claus to make it a Spouse Killin' holiday (say it just like that and he'll know what you mean).
The final cut of "Trux" from the upcoming "The Bubble Bath of Blood II: Mo' Blood, Mo' Bubbles" is online! Check out the Caveman Records MySpace page or download it here from the media section.
Thanks to all who made it out to Jukes on the 21st. There are so many people to thank that we would like to do so now, collectively, since every last one of you frequent this website. So, muchas gracias. For those of you who are anxiously awaiting our next performance with bated breath, know that we will make a return to the scene before year's end when Jack Frost starts nipping at your noses.
Also, if all goes well, we may soon have some video available to download for those who missed the recent shows or who prefer to keep good distance from spousal disputes.
We are moving toward completion of our sophomore LP, "The Bubble Bath of Blood II: Mo' Blood, Mo' Bubbles". Unlike our debut effort which is only available online, this release will be distributed on CD with artwork and/or inserts. We are very grateful to have once again worked with Caveman Records at The Cave in Grand Rapids, as they have been immeasurably patient and helpful with our new material. The tentative tracklist for the album is as follows:
1) Trux
2) Haywire
3) Harrison Ford, 1994
4) Stanley Cups
5) Putt-Putt
6) Chinking
7) Tankle
8) Wolverine
It's official. Our second performance will be held at Juke's Bar in west Grand Rapids on September 21st. We will share a playbill with the likes of Ozenza, local sludgers, and Go Josephine, another band. Show begins around 8pm. No cover. Come share a drink with your favourite instrumental band on a Thursday night.
Our first performance was a success. We played for a small crowd of 20-30 close friends and a few strangers who were well-mannered enough to tolerate the entirety of our setlist without throwing things at us. The event was filmed and may indeed be available, in part, to view online in the coming days. Here is a picture of the action. Thanks to everyone who made it so worthwhile. We will be playing in Grand Rapids again soon, very possibly on Sept. 16th OR 21st at Juke's Bar on the Westside. The new record is coming along rather well, as we have completed the primary drum and guitar tracks and are looking forward to sprucing it up with a bit of secondary percussion. Mixing will soon follow. Keep in touch for an official release.
Our first performance has been booked! We will be stirring things up at The Division Ave. Arts Cooperative (DAAC) in Grand Rapids on August 31st. Please visit their site for more information as the date approaches. It's going to be a Blood Bath, so please join us in lathering the Bubbles.
Also, we are on par to record our full-length sophomore effort in mid-August. Songs which will soon have you shaking your derrières in praise of morbidity include such tentative titles as: "Wolverine (Hugh Jackman is like a Father to Me)", "Haywire", "Putt-Putt Golf", "Chinking (Granite, Not Asians)", "Ben Hubbard", "Annie Arbor", "Truckle Chase", "Stanley Cups", "A Construction Vehicle Goes in Reverse", and more to come!
