About Me

My Name is Christine Marie Carson. I was born in Pontiac, Michigan and grew up in Clarkston, Michigan where I attended Clarkston High School. I was a member of Michigan's DECA marketing club and participated in two musicals, "Annie Get Your Gun" as a featured dancer, and "The Boyfriend" as a main character and dance captain. One thing that I have enjoyed in life more than anything else is dancing. I started dancing in kindergarten and danced competitively at The Dance Shoppe until I was a Junior in High School. Over the years I have had the priviledge of traveling all over the United States. I have been as far West as California, traveled to the Grand Canyon and all over the west, been to Florida numerous times and traveled out East as far as Maryland while also going to Niagra Falls, Washington DC and New York.

Work & College

I am a Junior at Grand Vallley State University majoring in Advertising with a minor in Business. Once I graduate I am planning on continuing my education by pursuing a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. I am currently a Student Building Supervisor at Grand Valley's athletic facilities. As part of my job there I am head of the Social Committee in which I help to organize staff outings, create monthly newsletters and fliers. I am a member and fundraising chair of the Co-ed business fraternity, Phi Chi Theta that was founded at Grand Valley in 2008 and we are in the process of buidling it to it's fullest potential. The past two summers I have worked full time as an intern at Flagstar Bank corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan.
