This is my dog, Riley. | Riley
is a nine year-old golden retriver who has been a part of our family
for a little over eight years now. We adopted her when she was
only a few months old. Even though she is now nine years-old, she
still acts like a puppy most of the time. She loves going for
walks and getting new toys. One of Riley's favorite things to do
is to watch for squirrels, chipmunks, and other small animals that she
thinks she can catch. She always tries to run after them, but
they are always too fast and she returns out of breath, but ready to
track down the next one. |
This
is a picture of Riley and I that was taken this past summer, the day
that I returned from school for the summer. Riley was so excited
to see me, and of course I missed her too! | This
is a picture of Riley this fall, when she had to wear a cone around her
neck. She had to wear this cone for a couple of days because she
scratched her cornea and the vet did not want her to scratch
it even more with her paws. |

| The
photo to the left is a picture of Riley sleeping. Riley sleeps a lot
and sometimes she likes to lay on her back like this and waits for us
to come over and pet her. If you are interested in visiting the
