I was thinking about all
of the popular movies that have come out in the past twenty years (I do that
sort of thing when I am bored) and I came up with the formula to make the
perfect movie. Not only that, but I created the perfect story line to fit
the formula and here it goes:
A man named John, played by John Cusack, lives by himself
and has ever since his wife, played by Cameron Diaz, was mysteriously killed
15 years ago. John has managed to live his life like most normal people
he has even kept a steady job at a secret military base close to where he
lives. Despite his loneliness, John is just like everybody else, except
that for the past few years, Cameron has been visiting him from beyond the
grave. John has never been scared of his late wife, instead, he listens to
what she has to say and allows her to give him directions for what to do
and where to go. She has even led him to produce very promising research
towards time-travel. One night, Cameron tells John to go to a parking lot
and wait for an ambulance.
He does as she says and, sure enough, an ambulance
pulls into the spot next to him. I should point out that this movie takes
place right after Hannibal Lector escapes in Silence of the Lambs.
Hannibal, covered in blood, hops out of the ambulance and asks John for
a ride. John agrees and takes Hannibal to his home for the night. To make
a long story short, Hannibal and John, with guidance from Cameron, create
a time machine and use it to go back in time to figure out how Cameron died.
It turns out that Hannibal Lector was the one that killed her and John is
now going to be next. John escapes in the time machine and leaves Hannibal
15 years in the past. Of course the ending is left open for a sequel or
two. Finally, since the movie will be a musical, I have written a few songs
for it. Here a couple of stanzas:
Time Traveling (sung to the tune of A Whole New World)
A whole new tiiiiiiiiiime,
A great machine that is mine,
No one to tell us no,
Or when to go,
Or say we're a little crazy...
Im Gonna Eat You (sung to the tune of Its a Small World)
I'm gonna eat you after all,
I'm gonna eat you after all,
I'm gonna eat you after all,
And youll taste really good!
Cameron's Back (sung to the tune of Under the Sea)
Honey it's me,
Honey it's me,
Death, I have met her,
But now I'm better,
Listen to me!
