Conclusion

It is my hope that students will learn the importance of the events leading up to the Revolutionary War. How events like “The Boston Massacre” and “The Boston Tea Party” led to the break away from Britain and the Independence of the Colonies leading to the formation of the United States of America. I would like students to form educated opinions regarding whether Britain was the controlling entity that the colonists made it out to be, or if the colonies were in actuality just a bunch of rebels; who, in the process formed a new nation? Was Britain fair in trying to implement taxes on the colonists to pay for the seven years war that helped gain land for the colonists? The key to information is knowledge and knowledge is power! Students are welcome to explore the links provided for further information or just for fun!
