Jessi is a junior majoring in professional writing at Grand Valley State University. She wrote for her high school newspaper, The PCEP Perspective and went on to cover news stories for the Grand Valley Lanthorn. Currently, she is writing for American Road Magazine's Tunnel Vision section. She also works in the Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Writers as a writing consultant. As a nonprofit administration minor, she hopes to become a communications professional for a nonprofit organization. She will be continuing her internship with the Development and Marketing office of Catholic Social Services of Washtenaw County over the coming summer.
She is the editor of her own blog, this new slang, which features real-time student works. If she could she would study all the classical languages and is very proud of having a year of Latin under her belt. She loves food, family and travel. And her dog, Juno.
