Items we cannot accept

Goodwill cannot accept some items for a variety of reasons including safety hazards, inability to repair items, and high garbage disposal fees:

• Used mattresses or waterbeds
• Electric or kerosene heaters
• Paint, paint thinner or other flammable substances
• Poisonous or hazardous substances
• Car batteries or other corrosive materials
• Used tires
• Large appliances
• Most building materials
