I grew up in Vicksburg, Michigan a small town just south of Kalamazoo. My two younger sisters and I spent many days in our backyard which happened to also be my grandparent's cattle and sheep farm. All of my art making is influenced from those experiences, along with experiences of growing up and away from the farm.

I am in my fourth year at Grand Valley State University, majoring in Art Education with an emphasis in Visual Studies. My work deals with social justice and awareness and spans the board in terms of media useage.
