Me standing
by the mission gates. When we
went to
the Carmel Mission, it was closed. So
sadly we
couldn't walk into the closed area
that you
see behind me. But we did get a chane to enter
into the chapel. It wasn't as beautiful as the courtyard,
but we settled for what we were given.
Pictured
here is one of my best friends, Michelle Leigh
Luzier.
She is at her dates' prom. I don't remember
her dates
name, but I do know they have broken up at
present. I haven't spoken
to her in such a long time!
I do miss her alot. She lives in Ponca City at the
moment and as far as I know...she's taken!
My mom and
I in my room. I lived in Robinson living
center,
room 124 and I had two roommates the first semester;
Jenna Gates
and Regina Sparger. Gina moved out the second
semester
and Jenna and I had the whole place to ourselves.
That was
a great semester!
This is
a view of the Carmel mission, located in
Carmel,
California. Its such a historical place to
visit with
wonderful history shrouding the whole area.
Here I am
with my mom, Sue Yang,
she is holding
my brother Steven and we are at my
Grandparents
home. I am five years old and my
brother
is only a few months.
My cousin
Sandy and I have also practically grown up
with each other. She is Jennifer's older sister. We
lived in the same house together and went to the
same elementary school. She's hot isn't she?
Well, too bad guys, I'm extremely protective of
my cousins and let me just discourage all the males
from ogling too much. Our relationship resembles
what I believe sisterly love is and I'm glad I have
them in my life.
My brother
Steven. He's 14 at the
moment, but when this picture was taken,
he was 12. He's the oldest of my younger
male siblings.
My friend
See. Isn't see just so gorgeous?
We've been friends since high school. We
first met and spoke to each other in Algebra
class at East Central High School in Tulsa,
Oklahoma. After that, its all history. She is
also Hmong and is currently attending the
University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma.
My aunt
Xong having something to drink
while we are waiting for our meal at The
Forge In The Forest in Carmel, California.
It was a beautiful restaurant amidst trees and
flowers of various species. We got lots of
delicious food. It was great. But if you do
plan on visiting that part of Carmel, be aware
that its very hilly and drive with caution!
Make sure your breaks work very well!
Me and my
aunt Xong, in a charter bus
heading back from our nations christmas
tree. Sanger, California is the Nations
Christmas tree capital. You didn't know
we had a christmas tree capital huh?
Annually, they have an event called
"The Trek to the Tree." The actual tree
is a giant red wood named the General
Grant tree and is not a pine tree. Weird huh?
These boys
are testing the chilly water before jumping in.
My geology class took a 4 day trip to Bancroft, Canada to
collect minerals for our own personal samples. I had such
a horrible time there though! It was cold, rainy and very
wet.
We crawled through man made caves, scurried over mountain
ledges and went into radioactive mines to get to those beautiful
minerals. My tent got flooded in on the last night we spent at
Bancroft and I had to sleep in the van for the night. We had
a bonfire and there were alot of "happy" people around the
campfire. In Canada, it's legal to drink at the age of 19.
All in all, I'd have to say it's one of the best trips I have
ever taken.
We are at
Fission Mine in Bancroft, Canada. At this site I
collected samples of fluorite. A few of us who were in the
area decided to pose for a picture. It was raining alot and
the floor of the cave was filled with water. I didn't wear
hiking boots that day, so my feet stayed wet the whole day.
You can't see me too clearly, but I'm the one in the red coat,
second to the left. While gathering mineral samples
on a ledge,
we stumbled upon a little lake and a few of the brave males
decided to jump off the cliff to get cleaned. Throughout the
4 day trip to Bancroft, we weren't allotted any equipment to
shower or clean ourselves, so this was the closest we have
gotten to enough water to bath in.
Here is a picture
of my friend Josh Sisco. We went to the
Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Illinois with a group of
Classical Tradition students.
Here is
my kitty cat, Tiger, isn't he just a cute? My
parents never allowed me to have any pets when I was
living at home, but just when I leave to college, they
decide to get a cat! Sadly though, Tiger has passed
and is no longer with us in physical form. A dog got
into my backyard while the cat was outside and
attacked Tiger.
My Aunt Xong and I posing without knowing
what we were posing for. This is one of the
earliest pictures I had taken of me.
I grew up with alot of females even though
all
of my siblings are males. This is a picture of me,
my Aunt Sheng and my Aunt Xong (left to right).
Don't forget to email me if you have any questions
or just to give a friendly greeting!

Look at some of my
original artwork. I took the pictures with my digital camera,
so some of them will look distorted.
