Since
Winter Semester 1998, the Latin American Studies Program has published
LAS Noticias, a Spanglish play on words, mixing the acronym of the
program with the Spanish word for news. The newsletter is published
twice annually, once during both the Fall and Winter semesters.
It contains information about up-coming Latino and Latin American
studies events in the West Michigan region served by Grand Valley
State University. It also contains news regarding events sponsored
by the Latin American Studies Program, related activities by GVSU
students and faculty, and lists LAS courses available for registration. |
