Mary Courville
Miss Mary was my early childhood practicum cooperating teacher.  We team taught an ECSE classroom for 3 to 5-year-olds at Huntington Woods Elementary (Wyoming Public Schools).

Janet Krueger
Ms. Krueger was my GVSU field coordinator during general education student teaching.  She observed me through five ITIP lessons, gave constructive advice for my teaching and class projects, and we worked together to fine tune my teaching strategies.

Mary Helen DeLiefde
Mrs. DeLiefde was my general education cooperating teacher.  I student taught in her third grade classroom at Murray Lake Elementary (Lowell Area Schools).

Susan Doyle Filius
Mrs. Filius (previously Miss Doyle) was my special education cooperating teacher.
I student taught in her fourth and fifth grade CI/AI classroom at Sandy Hill Elementary (Jenison Public Schools).

Jodi Bajko
Mrs. Bajko was my special education cooperating teacher.  I teacher assisted in her Kindergarten to third grade resource room at Knapp Forest Elementary (Forest Hills Public Schools).

Anne Edsenga
Mrs. Edsenga was the principal at Knapp Forest Elementary while I did my teacher assisting.  She was able to observe me in the classroom and at a child study team meeting she lead while I took the place of my cooperating teacher.

Jennifer Garwood
I was a counselor in Miss Jenn’s SCAMP camp classroom for three summers.  We worked with students with a wide range of special needs, ages four to eleven.

A fifth grade student during my special education student teaching typed me a letter during free computer time that I cherish.  I was impressed with her ability to express her feelings.  We worked on writing letters with an opening, body, and proper closing.
