Football

American Football, or as it is commonly known as in the United States as just Football, is one of the most popular sports in our country. During gameplay, there are 11 players on each team, for a total of 22 players on the field at all times. A traditional football field is 120 yards long, including both end zones and 53.33 yards in width. There is also a field goal post at each end of the field. The objective of the game is to get the football into the other teams end zone either by running or passing the football. Another way to score is by kicking the football into the opposing teams field goal post, which is worth 3 points. Football is very popular among many different age groups, starting from youth football in 3rd and 4th graders all the way up to the professional level or NFL. The two most popular levels are the Collegiate Football League and National Football League, with the Super Bowl being the biggest one day sporting event in the United States.
