Home Based Services

Youth Counseling
Our home based services include counseling for youth that are struggling with emotional distress from a loss, a divorce, incarcerated parent, or any form of stress that may call for a more personal mentoring experience. Kids ages 4-18 are eligible for this program.

Family Intervention
Under the family intervention program families will be paired with a counselor that will help the work through issues that may be going on in the home and tearing the family apart. These sessions will allow the family to talk openly, and give the parents resources to better understand their children and how to repair the relationships that have been damaged by building trust.

Educational Based Services

Big Brothers and Sisters
Youth will be paired with a mentor that is 18 or older in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. These mentors will be a support and guidance system for the child in need of direction. They will spend quality time with the child forming a lasting and trusting bond and a place of comfort. Mentors of the past have enjoed taking our youth to enjoy everyday fun activities such as bowling, laser tag, the movies, mini golf, carnivals, sports events, and fishing. There are so many more great opportunities under this program

School Based Mentoring/Tutoring
Your child can receive assistance after school with homework with one of our school based mentors. These mentors are volunteers, ages 20 and older, that are going into the education profession. They are very eager to help meet the needs of your child with their school course load. If your child needs extra help with studying, or any specific subject in school enroll them in our school based mentoring program so that they can focus on their studies in a stress free, friendly, and patient environment.

Life Skills
Our life skills program offers youth different lessons on how to do the everyday tasks of adults. These lessons range from building things around the house and planting flowers, to writing a resume and balacing a checkbook. The lifeskills program runs during the summer months May-August and is open to kids and teens ages 7-18. Each program differs with the age group.

Recreational Sports

Our recreational sports are teams that kids ages 10-18 can participate in. They include Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Baseball, Volleyball, and Tennis. These teams are available for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer depending on the sport. The fee for this program varies with each age group. These sports teams are a great opportunity for your child to learn the value of teamwork, leadership skills, and listening skills. Your child will form lasting friendships and have a positive hobby to keep them occupied. The team building skills these children take with them will help them in every aspect of their life.
