Educational Based Services
Big Brothers and Sisters
Youth will be paired with a mentor that is 18 or older in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program. These mentors will be a support and guidance system for the child in need of direction. They will spend quality time with the child forming a lasting and trusting bond and a place of comfort. Mentors of the past have enjoed taking our youth to enjoy everyday fun activities such as bowling, laser tag, the movies, mini golf, carnivals, sports events, and fishing. There are so many more great opportunities under this program
School Based Mentoring/Tutoring
Your child can receive assistance after school with homework with one of our school based mentors. These mentors are volunteers, ages 20 and older, that are going into the education profession. They are very eager to help meet the needs of your child with their school course load. If your child needs extra help with studying, or any specific subject in school enroll them in our school based mentoring program so that they can focus on their studies in a stress free, friendly, and patient environment.

These lessons range from building things around the house and planting flowers, to writing a resume and balacing a checkbook. The lifeskills program runs during the summer months May-August and is open to kids and teens ages 7-18. Each program differs with the age group.
