The safety behind electronic cigarettes, and answers to common myths.
What
you see above is a chart indicating the correct power use for your
ecig. It may seem like gibberish at first, but after vaping for a short
while you will catch on fairly quickly.
Basically, if you
stay in the green zones you will not burn out your coil, or fry out any
juice. Furthermore, if you are using an unregulated mod, going too far
into the red can cause a venting episode, or even an explosion if you
have a ridiculously poorly made coil coupled with unsafe (nonventing)
batteries.
Many
claim that ecigs actually are more wasteful than cigarettes. Take a
quick look at the image bellow, and I'll let you decide which seems to
be more wasteful.
Health
concerns have always been a hot topic for sensationalist media to
exploit with eCigs. Claims that people do not know what they are
putting in their body is far from true. In all honesty, ejuice is
comprised of only 2 main ingriedients. Vg, or vegetable glycerin and
Pg, or Propylene Glycol. Both of which are FDA approved as well as
having long-term studies of human consumption already proving no health
risks are to be assosiated with the two chemicals.
Another
concern is that when you vape, you are putting water into your lungs.
This is completely true though! As the vapor condenses, it gets
absorbed through your lungs like everything else you breathe in, and
gets sent to the bloodstream just like how traditional analog
cigarettes work, but without the tar that clogs up your lungs and
causes actual damage.
