Now it's time to ask the all important question;
Are you ready to jump into the never ending rabbit hole of upgrading?
If so, it's time to see what you really need for your vaping experience to be the best it can truly be.
Need long battery life, and variable wattage/voltage? Try out the new Eleaf Istick. For being so small, it truly packs a punch.
- it does have a connector for use with a tank like the t3s or evod, but I would recommend stepping up to the Aspire Nautilus Mini.
- The flavor is incredible, and packs much more vapor than an evod or t3s clearo. I still use this one to this day even.
- Also, you need to keep in mind that if you choose to use a t3s or evod, you run a very high risk of burning out the coils.
Something else that I would recommend is the old standby and fan favorite
mvp v2.
A very solid choice and device overall. Personally, I vaped off an mvp2
from September 2013
to November 2014, with no problems whatsoever. An interesting addition
to the mvp 2 is that you can actually charge things off of the battery,
such as your phone. The only downside is that the mvp2 only goes to a
max of 11 watts, or 5 volts while the Istick can put out 20 watts.
Now,
if you're ready to really get into ecigs, it's time to start
rebuilding, delving into mechs, lithium high drain grade batteries,
memorization of ohms law, and learning a whole book worth of new lingo.
Rebuildables are where ecigs stop being a toy, and become not only a hobby, but a sport in its own right.
- You'll
need good batteries such as a Sony vtc5 (which are now extinct), or
LgHe2 batteries. What's been recommended a lot as of late, are the purple efest batteries,
aka 'Barney's.' You should be aware that two versions exist, one with
20A max, and one with 30A max. The 30A model is obviously leagues above
a 20A.
- Also,
a charger for said batteries. Don't be a cheap idiot like I was and get
a trustfire. Long story short; I destroyed the last vtc5 battery I
owned (honestly this was a big deal since they are impossible to find), and the
charger melted into a ceramic tile, along with setting off smoke
alarms. At least look into getting an intellicharger.
- Then, obviously you need a mod of your own choice
- Want
to go mechanical? Little unsafe to be honest, but it's quite rewarding
and probably the sexiest way to vape. Also, there is little difference
in many mechanical mods out. There is lttle to know difference in vape
when you compare one mech to another.
2.
Or do you want to play it safe along with having some control over your
power in a digital sense, along with rediculous power? In all honesty, the god box is pretty ridiculous , and even though I have a 100w box mod, I rarely go above 60 watts, and like to stay around 40 anyhow.
I
only recently began building my own coils and playing with mechs and
reg. boxes, so the only place I can truly recommend you begin to learn
from would be the highly revered Rip Tripper.
Here's a video of my current build on a stillare ran on a sigeli 100w (fatbaby)!
