Weekend Trips
for Winter Semester 2007

THE ISSUES:

Youth & Disabilities, February 2-4:  

Working at a camp for youth with disabilities where they can just be themselves.  The disabilities can range from being unnoticalbe to very severe. You can download an application for this trip here.

Nature Preservation, March 30-April 1:  

Working with a natue preserve and helping them get ready for spring.  Jobs could be (but are not limited to) cleaning up trails and removing invasive shrubs. You can download an application for this trip here.

COST:
The cost for this trip is $45 which covers transportation, housing, and food.

THE EXPERIENCE:
Weekend trips are perfect for students who either can't make the time commitment to a full Spring Break or Winter Break trip, or are so passionate about volunteering that they want to participate in additional AB experiences. Weekend trips maintain a similar format as our Spring and Winter Break trips but in a shorter time frame. Weekend trips usually volunteer around Michigan and the surrounding areas.
