Written Report Reports Reports vary in length from 10-300 pages depending on the size of the project. They contain easy to read executive summaries, spreadsheets and graphical analysis encompassing all sections. We understand all readers comprehend information differently. Our report findings are presented in a manner that is readable and useable for all parties concerned.
Audio / Video Tapes All audio and visual tapes taken through qualitative analysis will be delivered to the client and supported with written reports.
CD-ROM Presentation findings, statistical analysis and reports will be provided in CD-Rom format for future client use.

What Goes Into a Research Report?

Every one knows research is valuable.....and it certainly seems simple enough...ask a few questions, and then presto.....you've got answers - RIGHT? Well, not exactly.....

Research is complicated - even complex. In order to gain feedback that closes the gap between expectation and delivery, proper research requires the skills of about ten different professions....including Marketing Science Professionals, Communications Theorists, Psychologists, Statisticians, Computer Science Engineers, Human Resource Experts and Consumer Behavior Analysts to name a few.
In the Beginning Most research projects begin with a full week of problem assessment, identification and isolation. In addition, it can take another 2 weeks to choose the proper research methodology, and design a valid measurement tool with the appropriate questions, scales, sequencing, layout and pre-testing.
Crunching the Numbers

Furthermore, the process requires the knowledge of an applied statistician to design a sampling plan that ensures the feedback gathered is valid, reliable and sensitive enough to represent the target universe - without over-sampling, and wasting precious time and money. After this comes taking turns with internal pre-testing and external pilot-testing to validate that the questions, scales and sample are appropriate.

 

Managing the Project

There's more.......now it's time to manage up to 100 people in the fieldwork process, commonly referred to as data collection. Sound simple? Just wait until the data comes back and it needs to be validated, edited, cleaned, processed, tabulated and coded - that can require a lot of time. Is that it? - not quite.
Turning Data Into Information Afterwards, the information is forwarded to a Research Analyst, where upon assistance from an applied statistician, the information is eventually turned into intelligence.
Business Development Deliverables Lastly, a written report complete with useable narrative and graphical portrayals is neatly and objectively forwarded for final inspection. The report provides solutions to the issues at hand.
