Company Overview Originally established in 1992, Advanced Analytics is a full-service market research and strategic planning consulting firm specializing in consumer, product and employee research. Advanced Analytics currently offers a full line of quantitative methodologies including Telephone, Direct Mail, Intercept, Personal, Interactive Voice Response, Internet, and Facsimile. Additionally, a full line of qualitative methodologies are offered, including Focus Groups, Depth Interviews, Child & Ethnic studies, Exit Polling, Mystery Shopping and Custom Observational Studies.

Brian J. Divita

Background

The founder and Chief Executive Officer, Brian J. DiVita, has been in the research profession for the past fifteen (15) years, serving in associate, analytical, managerial, strategic and executive level positions.
Work Experience His most recent role as an officer was Vice President of Client Services for Decision Insight, Inc., a full-service national marketing research consulting firm based out of Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to that, Brian held numerous corporate and managerial level positions in analytical research for Spartan Stores, Inc., Miller Brewing Company, and Amway Corporation. In total, DiVita has consulted on more than 1,500 individual, corporate, academic, and non-profit studies.
Academic Teaching Aside from his corporate background, Brian has been actively involved in the academic community. Over the past eight (8) years he has served as a faculty member for both Aquinas College, and Grand Valley State University. DiVita has taught numerous graduate and undergraduate courses in the fields of Strategic Management, Marketing, Research and Statistics. In addition, he has lectured on Human Resource Management, Micro and Macro Economics, Corporate and Personal Finance, Small Group Dynamics, Communication Theory and Advertising.
Research Training As a formally trained research scientist and moderator, Brian possesses a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from Aquinas College, a Master of Management in Marketing with a concentration in quantitative analysis from Aquinas College, and a Master of Science in Communication with a concentration in empirical methods from Grand Valley State University. Aside from this, over the past decade, DiVita has attended numerous research seminars, conferences, and training modules across the country, and has also successfully completed The School of Marketing Research certified executive program at The University of Notre Dame.
Notable DiVita is known in the research sector for his work as a specialist in the Grocery, Food Service, Consumer Goods and Retail industries. He was a committee member for the Washington, D.C. based Food Marketing Institute's National Consumer Market Research Committee for three years. During this time, he worked on numerous industry studies, and served as a contributing editor to the popular Trends ® 98', 99', 00' and 98' Hispanic study, Tendencias en' Mexico ®. During his fifteen (15) year career, Brian has previously consulted on statistical research design for numerous international and global fortune 500 companies.
