The Warren Commission

The Warren Commission was established by Lyndon Johnson after President Kennedy was assassinated to investigate how the former President had been killed.  The Warren Commission Report is the official report released by the government stating what happened to President Kennedy.  After almost a year of investigating, the Warren Commission had concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald had acted alone in killing JFK.  The commission found that the shots that killed Kennedy were fired from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depositroy, where Oswald had worked.  The report said that three shots were fired from Oswald.  One of the shots hit Kennedy in the neck and pierced his throat and another bullet struck John Kennedy in the head, the kill shot.

Lyndon Johnson established the Warren Commission to investigate
the assassination of John Kennedy.

The Governor of Texas, John Connally, was also injured in the assassination of JFK.  The Governor was in the same car as John Kennedy as when they were driving through Dallas.  The bullet that struck Kennedy through the throat is said to have also struck the Governor.  This is a very interesting bullet as this bullet is said to have caused all of Connally's injuries including the entry wound into his back, his shattered wrist, a broken rib, and even an injury to his thigh.  This bullet is referred to as the "magic bullet" since it was able to travel through multiple places on John Connally's body.  For more information on the magic bullet click here.

Lee Harvey Oswald was the man who

The commission also found that Lee Harvey Oswald was not part of any type of conspiracy to kill the President.
