Babcock State Park
Located in Wonderful West Virginia
Babcock State Park is located in Fayette County in south central West
Virginia. The Glade Creek Mill, often referred to as the Grist Mill, is
one of the most photographed historical buildings in the United States.
The park itself is nestled in the mountains and has a variety of trails
and picnicking areas for visitors. There are also a number of cabins
that you can stay in if you are there for more than a day trip. One of
them even has a gruesome ghost story associated with it. So if you're
afraid of the supernatural, don't stay in cabin nine!
