The Riviera Maya Barcelò-Tropical Resort also
has many activities that their guests can participate in. Most
involve some sort of physical activity, and the group of people I went
with really seemed to enjoy most of them. There is something for
everyone from water aerobics, to painting ceramics, to dancing, to
eating out. Click on the picture below to go to a website that can tell you more about the things to do at the Resort!

At
the Resort, there are many specialty restaurants you can choose from to
eat dinner at. However, for most of the restaurants, reservations
are needed. The food is well worth it though! This is a
picture of us receiving our lobster dinner.

All
day long the Resort plays upbeat music that allows you to chill out by
the pool while listening to some good music. Occasionally, there will
be water aerobics taught by the pool staff or dancing outside of the
pool, also taught by the pool staff. It is a very fun way to
exercise while on vacation without even realizing you're doing it!
This is a picture of everyone at the pool participating in the
dancing.

If
you get bored of lying out by the pool or the beach, you can always go
inside the activities building. This building is located right by
the pool and is where the bathrooms, towels, and rental equipment is
also located. The activities they offer in this building include
Spanish lessons, ceramic painting, and henna tattoos. This is a
picture of Lauren, Shelby, Christie, and some workers painting ceramics
for their friends at home.
