have all occupied here. Toledo was the old capital of the Spanish
empire. It is a beautiful city surrounded by a mote. The architecture
of the city is really something to admire. One could pass all day just
looking at the majestic cathedrals, synagogue and mosques. |
Córdoba, Andalucia (Image on right) Córdoba
is much like Toledo in its variety of culture. Throughout history it
has been the capital of a Roman province, the capital of an Arab State
and a Caliphate. This city has a very European feel to it with its
small streets and alleys. It is a great place to spend the day looking
at art, shopping or drinking in a cafe. | ![]() |

located on the Mediterranean Sea, is the second largest city in Spain.
It is a popular tourist destination. In Barcelona there are two main
spoken languages used; Spanish: the language of Spain and Catalan: the
language of the province. One could spend weeks in Barcelona and not
see all that it has to offer. It is a city rich in art and culture.
Here there are many places to shop, museums, and parks. |
