NutritonAlthough
the Giant Panda is clasisified as a carnivore, their diet mostly
consists of bamboo, leaves, stems, and shoots. Ocassionally they'll eat
other plants and small rodents. Bamboo has very little nutritional
value, so depending on their size and age pandas must eat between 26 and 83 pounds of it a day to meet
their energy needs.

Sleep
A
wild panda spends much it's day resting, feeding, and seeking food.
About 10 to 16 hours of their day is spent foraging and eating, and the
remainder is spent resting. Pandas often climb to high branches where
they'll be safe and kept cool. If they're too tired to climb the tree,
they just nap in the grass below or in snowy, rocky areas.
Social LifeAdult
pandas are generally solitary animals and prefer to be alone. They
communicate with others through scent marks, calls, and occasional
meetings. Males and females meet only primarily during their breeding
season. Though the adults keep to themselves, cubs stay with their
mother and siblings from 1.5 to 3 years.
