03/31/09 Minutes

Meeting starts at 9:04pm.

First of all, Sara Zecman dropped off cookies for us because she is a wonderful person and we enjoyed them very much. Thank you Sara.

Main topic: Next week's elections.
Anyone who has been in a show/meeting/audition is eligible to vote.

Treasurer: This person takes care of the money. If you plan on running for treasurer, it would be beneficial to attend the budget meeting on April 14th to get an idea of how the job goes. Joan also has a folder with paperwork to make your job easier.

Secretary: Communicator of the group. Responsible for sending out the weekly minutes and communicating between the E-board and the rest of the organization.

Vice-President: Big responsibility is room reservations. In addition, aids the president and stands in when necessary.

President: Delegates jobs to the rest of the E-board and manages the general goings-on in the organization. The president has future events in mind, when they are coming up, and how they will be accomplished. President also runs the weekly meeting.

Overall, the E-board is a group effort and they are there to help one another out. Open communication is a great asset. Other E-board responsibilities include reading all the submitted scripts and choosing what will be produced that semester and interview potential directors.

President and Vice-President of Writer's Guild and the STAGE PR Secretary are interviewed by the E-board and appointed by them.

We hope to see you all next week to either vote or run for E-board. (This is my favorite meeting of the year).

Remember: Punch and pie next week.
